At House of Eight Ministries, we honour and celebrate Mummy, Pastor Evelyn Joshua as the leader of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations and the President of Emmanuel Global Network and Emmanuel TV — not just as a woman of faith, but as a mother in the faith whose example inspires us to serve God with our whole hearts.

Mummy Evelyn is such an example of perseverance and a product of relying on God under the most difficult circumstances, not thinking of herself but of a cause much bigger than what she could have imagined. And today she is one of the most powerful women of God that walks the earth because of God’s amazing grace and unconditional love. What a spiritual mother. When I needed it the most in 2024, God used her to speak to me the words of faith which ignited something super natural in me. She will always be in my prayers and thoughts. I thank God for Mummy Evelyn’s life and for her prayers and counselling.”
When we think of leaders who inspire through humility, compassion, and unwavering faith, Evelyn Onyisi Joshua stands as a shining example. Known affectionately as Mama Evelyn, she is the wife of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua and now the leader of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) and President of the Emmanuel Global Network (EGN) and Emmanuel TV.
Her journey is one marked by quiet strength, deep devotion, and a servant’s heart. Born on December 17, 1968 in Delta State, Nigeria, Evelyn grew up grounded in Christian values.
She later pursued Management Studies at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), a background that would one day help her balance the demands of global ministry leadership.
In 1990, she married Prophet T.B. Joshua. From the very beginning, Evelyn played an active role in the ministry, pioneering the Sunday School Department, assisting in church administration, and supporting her husband in carrying the Gospel to the nations. She raised their three daughters—Serah, Promise, and Heart—while also nurturing a growing church family.
